Hi! Thanks for wanting to know more about me!I was born in an electric storm at home in Lagunitas, California and I' m a pisces. My dad didn' t make candles at the time of my birth, but he used to. He' s an intellectual and has taught me to be fiscally independent. My mom was a bellydancer in San Francisco during the sixties and she worked for The Committee and Lenny Bruce! My mom is one of greatest painters in the entire world. They are great parents! I' m the middle child. My brother and sister are also artists. My sister is the best photographer in the world. My niece, Dixie Rose Mooney is a genius and we' ve been married several times. She wants to be a chef when she grows up and a grocery bagger when she 's a teenager. She is currently in a band with her dad, Tim Mooney, called The Teenagers. Dixie plays harmonica. After being born in the storm, I grew and then went to school for many years. In nursery school I discovered my love/need for attention when I starred in the Wizard of Oz. That was my childhood artistic peak and from there I went on to play raindrop number 2 and orphan number 5. I never got to play Annie and I m very angry about it, but have worked through it in my show, Champion! I went to the Marin Waldorf School, which I loved and I don 't think Waldorf is a cult and I' m willing to debate this issue. Then I went to Marin Academy which I also loved and I didn 't meet people who hated school until I went to Emerson College in Boston. It was there that I learned about the Masshole, studied acting with Kristin Linklater, started playwriting and doing comedy. I lived in Holland for 2 semesters and I used to get chased by a huge black swan. After college I moved to San Francisco and lived in Duboce Triangle and was in a lot of plays, directed a lot of plays, wrote a couple plays and had a lot of fun parties at my house. In particular, I like the EXIT Theater. I worked for a long time for Susan McCollom, the greatest boss in the world, at VoiceMedia/Susan & Friends Casting. I love traveling and after I went to Southeast Asia in the winter of 2004, I moved to Los Angeles. I liked Cambodia the best, but the food in Vietnam is unbelievable. I ran into friends from Camp Winnarainbow in Bangkok! Camp Winnarainbow is the greatest place on earth. I started going there when I was 6. So far, I like Los Angeles. Me and my boyfriend, Casper, who was my summer camp boyfriend at ages 9 and 16, have a huge porch and great neighbors. Also, I can play Thriller and Beat It on the uklulele. |
