About Thessaly Storm Lerner

Daughter of a candlestick maker and a bellydancer, SF/Bay Area native, Thessaly Lerner, is a performer, playwright, producer, director and voiceover extraordinaire who has been creating comedic theatricals since graduating with a BFA in Acting from Emerson College. Eight years in San Francisco resulted in acting, directing and playwriting credits with many theater companies including Berkeley Repertory, The Magic Theater, Shotgun Players, EXIT Theater, Unidentified Theater, as well as work in NYC with 'SCAPE and numerous guest-artist in the schools stints. She is a founding member of The Original Action Pack Improv troupe, "Best of the SF Fringe Festival 2003" and is the artistic director of Teatro Akumal in Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. Her solo-performance company, Teen Pony Productions, has generated two ravely reviewed one-woman comedy extravaganzas, Champion! and Action!, which reviewers consistently compare to Gilda Radner and other SNL alum's work.

SAG and AFTRA, Lerner's voiceover work includes Electronic Art's "The Sims 2", dozens of Leapfrog Toys products, Sony Playstation's "Silent Hill 1 & 3", "Cel Damage", "My Street" as well as Doublefine Production's "Psychonauts", Sega, MTVgirl, TNeez, Chevy's, AT&T, Visa, Coca-Cola and many moresies! Notable on-camera credits include Nash Bridges and simulating giving birth in a national Kaiser commercial. She currently lives in Los Angeles, mocking the ever-present ice cream trucks with celery and scheming how to take over Hollywood with rubber chickens.
